On National Fiddling Day 2023, the following tune was officially named the Richmond 2-4 Reel. Commissioned by Cassandra Greer and composed by Kyle Burghout who has for many years been our House Fiddler and donated the song to our silent auction fundraiser.
The naming rights go to Cara Mitchell and Rachel Cloutier who both came up with the same name! Thank you all for your suggestions, they were all great!
We know that this will become a favorite of our weekend jam session tunes.
We are very proud to be the event in Ottawa which is a celebration of National Fiddling Day!
